RE: what is the best class B+

We purchased our 2009 Lexington GTS in April of this year. We drove it from Albany, NY to Arizona and we just came back from a 3 1/2 month adventure in it. We drove from Arizona up to British Columbia and back. We are totally satisfied with our Lexington. It is easy to drive and just the right size for us.
On our way back from Albany, we stopped at the Forest River Lexington factory in Elkhart, IN. It was very informative and they showed us through the building process.
Just our thoughts.

RE: GPS in class C

We just set ours in the cup holder on the doghouse. Works great although it sometimes loses the satellite but doesn't for long.

RE: Lexington Forest River B+ class

Don't know why people are against the Lexington by Forest River. We bought one in April and have been on the road since June. No problems with this unit. We are very satisfied with it. Every unit no matter what make or model will have small issues.
Has Bumpy owned a Lexington?

RE: Towing a CR-V with Class C

We have a 2008 CRV 2WD and I can't find anything in the manual, on the Honda site or here on this site about two wheel drive (front wheel drive) towing behind a class c on a car dolly. Everything mentions the 4 WD with four on the ground which we don't want to do.
I have emailed Honda but they take forever to answer.
Does anyone have a front wheel drive CRV and do you tow it on a car dolly?
Thanks for your response.

RE: We fell in love with an Itasca today... But were not ready

Yes we totally agree. We have thought about the gas situation but you only have so little time here. Have fun while you are able to. You never really know what is going to happen tomorrow.
Enjoy.

We have the Garmin 340 and had no problems using it in our Lexington GTS. We went from NY to AZ.

RE: Tire covers, yes or no?

Yes, we use them. I just finished making four covers for our unit. We live in Arizona so we figured anything to keep the sun off them when we aren't using the RV. We also made a windshield cover.

RE: Class C Campsite Photos. Show your stuff.

We stayed at Deer Run Campground in Schaghticoke, New York after we picked up our new RV in Albany. Very nice campground.
Will post a photo when I figure out how.

2009 Lexington GTS

We picked up our new RV on April 24th at Albany RV in Albany, NY. Had a couple issues that have been corrected and all in all, really enjoying this unit. Just the right size for us.
We are presently in Amarillo, TX heading home to Sun City, AZ. Taking it easy. No problems since we left NY.

RE: price matching issue

I have heard and been online to RV Direct. Has anyone been to or dealt with RV Capital Wholesalers? It used to be RV Direct Wholesalers but was too close in name to RV Direct so they changed their name.

We also stayed at the North American RV Park on the West side of Glacier. Very nice campground and we would stay there again.

TPO or Fiberglass Roof

We are looking at buying a Forest River Lexington motorhome. We have noticed that some companies list a TPO roof. Can anyone tell me what type of roof this is and how it compares to the fiberglass?
Thanks.
